The College of Communication and Information is a community of scholars and creators devoted to the study of communication and information and their related processes and technologies. Many college faculty members are highly regarded for their outstanding scholarly and creative work and are often selected to present their work at national and international conferences. As a group, they have authored numerous scholarly books, refereed journal articles, and book chapters.

Graduate and undergraduate students also participate in research and creative work by authoring scholarly papers and producing various types of creative projects. Many graduate students engage in scholarly publication and present their work at regional, national, and international conferences, including the college’s own annual research symposium. Undergraduate students who take part in scholarly and creative projects have the opportunity to earn recognition through the university’s annual Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EUReCA).
