Eric Haley (Professor) received his Ph.D. from the HW Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. He joined the faculty at UT in 1992. Dr. Haley’s research deals with a variety of advertising and society issues, as well as advertising agency issues. He has published in a wide variety of journals including Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, Journal of Consumer Affairs, and Journal of Advertising Education. He has served as Editor of Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, Senior Associate Editor of Journal of Advertising and the Vice President of the American Academy of Advertising. He is presently President-Elect of AAA. At UT, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and is dedicated to providing students professional development opportunities beyond the classroom.
