Isabel Whelan is a junior pursuing a degree in Public Relations. Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, she chose to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville because it felt like home. She has past experience in public relations through the VOLs Remote Internship Program working with United Way of Greater Atlanta, and as the Outreach Assistant for the Office of Sustainability. Outside of class, Isabel is involved across campus as a 2020 Orientation Leader, a member of Leadership Knoxville Scholars, and a 2022 Ignite Team Leader. You can also find her exploring Knoxville’s coffee shops and attending concerts with friends in her free time.
