Roxanne Hovland

Roxanne Hovland did her undergraduate work at the University of Florida and received a masters and doctorate from the University of Illinois. She taught at the University of Texas for five years then joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee in 1987. Her research interests include consumer culture, advertising of vice products and depictions of gender roles.
