Meet Kristin Knight

Kristin is a senior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, from Pleasant View, Tennessee. She is pursuing her degree in Public Relations, because she has always liked writing and brand promotion. She wanted a career that combined both of those interests and found Public Relations to a perfect fit.

Her favorite part about Public Relations is the wonderfully driven and talented people she has met throughout the program. Each student she meets has a different perspective that he or she brings to the table, which makes for a more stimulating classroom experience.

Kristin believes Dr. Levenshus to be one of the best educators she has had as a student, and believe she has greatly impacted her. She says that Levenshus is, “patient, intellectually challenging, and an expert in her field.”  She shares that her professor is always willing to lend advice to propel students into the professional world.

In her opinion, the public relations writing course is by far her favorite class in the major.  The writing course has taught her skills that she will use daily in any PR career she chooses.

Along with excelling in the classroom, Kristin is active in PRSSA and is the chapter president. She is also in the Chancellors Honors program. Kristin is an admirable student with a bright future ahead.
